Rugs from the Shapura collection are woven in the U.S.A. of premium fully worsted New Zealand wool and represent the standard of excellence in wool rugs. This pattern has been crafted using dozens of individually skein dyed yarns for precise color clarity. The yarn is then woven through the back and finished with Karastan's Lustre-Wash process to re-create as clsoely as possible the look and feel of a time hand-woven rug.
